Kyoto Japanese Steak House Rockwall

Came in 40 minutes before closing. The staffed seemed annoyed of my family walking in. I understand they close at 9:30PM and we were planing to be in in and out considering that. Walking in we were told by the host “let me ask if they still do hibachi since it is so late” that immediately made me feel very uncomfortable and took my family to a restaurants that wanted our business. Never coming back to this place again after this experience.

Chef Adam took wonderful care of our party of 13 and had everyone laughing and cutting up throughout the entire experience. His performance was, from my seat, the best compared to the the three other hibachi chefs I saw taking care of other tables. If you can - try and request chef Adam - he's the best! We will be back for sure!

I literally drive an hour away from home to come here and enjoy great food. Adam is a great cook and omg he was THE funniest hibachi cook I have ever experienced. I want to thank our waitress Ellen for the great customer service and catering to her section. She was quick with getting every thing we needed. If you haven’t been to this place you should get here ask for Ellen and Adam.

Errrmmmmaaaageeerrrddddd 😂😂😂 Visited 3.6.26 Took the in laws to eat for her birthday.. and i will say, I am very very, we were all very satisfied with the food and service. I've been to a few other hibachi restaurants and this one takes the trophy home.. this cook was very interactive with his customers, funny, and got down on that grill and cooked up some good food.. A lot of food and very well worth it. We liked that the meals came with shrimp and noodles, along with the normal soup and salad. Also tried the fried shrimp or whatever it was and it was delicious.. Restaurant over all was nice, waitress was nice and tentative to the whole table. And to make things better, there is other workers helping the waitress/ers removing used dinnerware.. Most definitely going back... 👏 👏 👏 👏
